Collaborated with Hong Kong Geopark, a Unesco site, and the Agriculture Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD), HKSAR from June to November 2019, Elaine took several site visits with AFCD's geographic specialists to investigate seven disappearing old Hakka villages in Hong Kong, namely 荔枝窩、鎖羅盆、三椏村、梅子林、蛤塘、牛屎湖和小灘. They gathered sound, photos, sketches, and interviews as primary information to reconstruct the site, which Elaine turned into paintings for Geopark's educational use.
