Louis Vuitton x ELLE x Elaine Chiu

Louis Vuitton collaborates with Hong Kong artist Elaine Chiu to explore the memory of the urban environment and personal identity through painting, sketching, and performance art. In her work, Elaine deconstructs the visual rhythms of urban landscapes, streets, and signs. She primarily explores the relationship between tradition and modernity, virtual and reality, showcasing the changes in cities, society, and humanity. For ELLE and @louisvuitton, she created two paintings. In "Speedy Bag Wonderland," Elaine transforms Louis Vuitton's iconic Speedy Bag collection into a fantastical wonderland. For her, the Speedy Bag represents a portable art canvas and the boundless imagination of modern urban life. In "Victory City," Elaine is inspired by the design of Louis Vuitton's stores throughout Paris, hoping to convey a sense of creativity and confidence by depicting the exterior of the flagship store on the Champs-Élysées and incorporating Damier check elements into her unique pixelated visual language.
