您是否想用水彩畫風景，但覺得很難掌握顏色，未能做到和諧色調之餘仲越畫越唔妥? 又或有沒有朋友停留在黑白畫面，想試用水彩上色但怕用色不當破壞苦心經營好的畫面? Colour EXP 好開心再次同 趙綺婷 Elaine Chiu's Art 合作，此工作坊針對水彩初學者在調色上常遇到的問題與困難，由淺入深，以簡單的色彩理論帶領參加者輕易掌握水彩。

Are you feeling perplexed how to get the right colour and harmonious tone when painting with watercolour? Or are you stuck with black and white sketches because it’s a bit daunting to add colours? Colour EXP is pleased to collaborate with 趙綺婷 Elaine Chiu's Art again to offer a foundation watercolour workshop, which focuses on tackling the common problems faced by watercolour beginners with simple and practical guides.
The 2.5 hour workshop is suitable for watercolour beginners 15 year of age or above, and will cover the followings:
Practical colour theory with exercises to help participants to understand and familiarize with the use of watercolour
Instructor will demonstrate the step by step on how to paint a view of the Victoria Harbour
Each participant will complete their own A3 size painting during the workshop
Fee: $500, includes all materials (all artist grade such as Arches watercolour paper, Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolour) needed for the workshop, and a drink of your choice from our café.

《About Elaine》As a Hong Kong post-90s artist, Elaine Chiu reflects her individual relationship with the fast-paced urban culture in Hong Kong through landscapes and cityscapes. Elaine Chiu graduated from The University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor’s degree in Art History in 2018. She has been participating in different art projects, such as exhibitions, mural painting, watercolor courses and outdoor sketching workshops. Step by step Elaine wishes to achieve her dream and share with more people her passion towards Hong Kong’s unique streetscapes.
